Secure Socket Layering (SSL)

OZlineshop uses Comodo SSL or secure socket layering. This state of the art technology is used to encrypt your information in a way that can only be understood by the computer that was intended to receive the information.

There are a few ways to check if our site is indeed secure. First, when checking out, (in Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and higher) there will be a lock on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. This lock is to show you that the site is secure. The other method is by looking at the address of our checkout page. The address will not start with http:// , rather it will start with https:// (s is for secure) and will be followed by ssl (Secure Socket Layering). With the extra security of Comodo, the first section of the web page address will be green, indicating maximum security position.
